I have to admit at the start of this review for the Umbro Velocita Matrix Pro I wasn’t particularly expecting much. Velocita’s I’ve tried in the past have generally let me down. Why would this one be any different. Well, it turns out it is different and while there are still a couple of issues there’s a really solid foundation for a boot here and elements like the lightweight feel on feet and the overall upper material along with a much improved tooling means the Umbro Velocita Matrix Pro is a pleasant surprise.

The Under Armour Shadow 3 Elite is not just one of the most underrated boots on the market, it could also be one of the best, the Intelliknit upper is absolutely next level and also has incredible lockdown. The Adidas Predator Pro FT is a boot that I absolutely didn’t enjoy in the Predator 24, and, while the Predator 25 version is considerably better, I still pretty much hate it. The shape of the boot once again causes an absolute disaster and while you get so many materials off the elite level model, it just absolutely does not deliver to anything near that level and in all honesty, you’re better off saving your money and going for the league level Predator if you want a budget FT model! In my opinion at least. So, it’s review time, let’s break it all down and tell you why these are the WORST adidas boots of 2025.

The TLSS Striker is a very exciting football boot, a boot that’s so packed with tech at an absolutely incredible price that it just had to be reviewed. Not only that, but TLSS have jumped straight into providing us with a Teijin synthetic upper that is very reminiscent of the much loved Nike Mercurial Vapor 10. It’s not quite the same but it certainly was my first thought.
