I love these boots, they might be the best colourway of 2024, or at least one of my favourites. Adidas have finally thrown an absolute banger of a colourway at Lionel Messi, and it might also be one of the most divisive colourways EVER released. Adidas don't always get Messi football boots right, and that's probably an understatement.

This is my full playtest review of the $100 adidas Predator League FT. The League FT should be absolutely dominating the takedown market, with looks similar to the $280 elite version and offering that oh so sought after foldover tongue. However, the last generation was an absolute disaster and was barely recognisable when compared to its more expensive counterparts.

NOT ANYMORE! The Predator 25 League FT really steps it up a notch and with an upper that is probably punching above its weight class this could be a great option for a lot of people who want to save that $180 and still get the looks.

These are absolutely insane and they're not for everyone, but EVERYONE HAS to try these! The Puma Ultra Carbon is a special special pair of football boots, not perfect, but special. Here is my Puma Ultra Carbon review and it is certainly one to watch.

A boot I was really hoping to be able to recommend to people in this review. The Adidas Predator League FT offers a lot of the desirable looks of the elite level model but instead of €280 they're €100, certainly an appealing option for a lot of people.

Unfortunately, not for me, and I don't recommend that they're for you either, and these come with a big old DON'T BUY warning from me. For the money there are significantly better options out there and there are too many issues with the Predator League FT to make it a viable option in my book.

David Beckham is an all time great, a football icon, a fashion icon and without him I doubt I would be reviewing football boots right now. HOWEVER, Adidas have absolutely fumbled this Beckham Predator release despite having all the elements in place for it to be great. In short, this is nothing short, of disappointing.

Can you really get great value speed boots for under $100? Well, this review of the Puma Ultra Match says YES!

Speed boots frequently represent the pinnacle of a brands development and technology, so, you'd hope that we might get excellent take down models as a result of trickle down. Unfortunately that's not always the case. But, this time around Puma have really stepped up their game with the Ultra takedown models and the Puma Ultra Match offers great value for money at just $80 with Excellent performance.

Of course a good option is to get an older colourway on sale, but, if you want the most recent colourways, you can do a lot worse than the Ultra Match.

What is the BEST new speed boot of 2024, and why is it the Puma Ultra Ultimate? Well, for me, it might not be the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 or the Adidas F50, Puma have somehow managed to resurrect the Ultra line and turn it into one of the best new boots of 2024!!!

This is my full playtest review of the Puma Ultra Ultimate 2024, or is is the Ultra 5 Ultimate, Puma are as mad with their naming systems as they are with their releases these days!! I can tell you right now, I think this is one of the best boots or cleats if you prefer of 2024. However, it almost was a total failure for me just because of one issue with the boot!!!!
